Questions we often hear

Do I need any prior knowledge of Islamic finance to enrol?
The Foundations course is designed for those with little or no background in Islamic finance. Each programme is clearly labelled with the entry level it suits — you are welcome to contact us if you are unsure which to begin with.
What do the evening webinars involve?
Sessions are conducted via a web-based video platform and run for approximately two hours. Participants receive the meeting link by email ahead of each session. Recordings are made available to enrolled learners who are unable to attend a particular evening.
How is the shariah advisor consultation conducted?
Consultations take place by phone or video call, at a time arranged to suit your schedule. The advisors we work with are practitioners familiar with Malaysian financial products and shariah requirements, not general advisors.
Are the courses available to people outside Penang?
All core webinar sessions are online and open to participants throughout Malaysia. Group sessions for the intermediate course are held in both Penang and Kuala Lumpur. If you are based elsewhere, please contact us and we will discuss what is practical for you.
What is the payment arrangement?
Payment details and arrangements are confirmed at enrolment. We accept bank transfer and online banking. Please contact us directly to discuss any questions about payment timing for the longer programmes.
How is personal information handled?
Information you share with us is used only for course administration and communication. We do not share participant details with third parties beyond the partnered shariah advisors involved in your programme. Our Privacy Policy is available on this site.
